As the midterm elections draw closer with each day, Donald Trump is desperately trying to figure out what he can do to prevent Republicans from being destroyed at the ballot box in November.
Despite his lies that he has the highest approval rating ever for a sitting president, Trump can read the polls and knows he actually has the lowest approval rating of any American head of state in the 20th century.
Might Trump try to shuffle his staff in a desperate move to refocus attention from the flagging U.S. economy, a war with Iran, and the Epstein files scandal? With someone as unstable as Donald, anything is possible, especially since he’s terrified that losing control of Congress will result in him being impeached for the THIRD time, a dubious honor since he’s already the only president to be impeached twice.
A report from the Daily Mail has some suggesting that one top Trump adviser could be getting the heave-ho.
According to the report, White House deputy chief of staff and homeland security advisor Stephen Miller thinks he’s running the Department of Homeland Security, which has alienated other top staffers as DHS and even goes against Trump’s express wishes of what he wants done at the department.
Is Miller on the hot seat?
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), a likely contender for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, certainly believes that Miller will be pushed overboard, noting in a social media post from his press office, “START THE COUNTDOWN!! Stephen Miller is going to be fired!”
Others then joined the debate, with many openly celebrating the possibility of Miller getting the axe.
If indeed Trump does fire Miller, he could always replace him with a convicted serial killer for the same vibe.
