Mark Epstein is the brother of the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who died while awaiting trial in 2019 on federal charges related to his alleged abuse of underage girls, and he says his brother was killed at the orders of Donald Trump, who was a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein for decades.
In a document unearthed out of the recent Epstein files release from the Department of Justice, Mark Epstein writes, “Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his jail cell. I have reason to believe he was killed because he was about to name names. I believe [President] Trump authorized [his] murder.”

Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail in August of 2019, and his death led to a federal investigation into the circumstances of his passing, which was later ruled a suicide.
This latest revelation from the Epstein files drew a great deal of commentary on social media.
Pretty major allegation. Weird that mainstream media journalists haven’t asked Trump about it, right? https://t.co/3GopliKITX

I’m not a detective. But thid is kind of the most obvious scenario. The guy who’s named in the Epstein files the most, and who certainly had a complicated relationship with him, should be a suspect.

The facts now look less and less like a suicide. Who was in a position to orchestrate this b/c of his position and who had the most to lose? Information was about to emerge that would have ended careers. Epstein was likely strangled. Too many "coincidences".

For his part, Trump insists he was never best friends with Jeffrey Epstein despite there being volumes of proof to the contrary. Then again, Trump is a pathological liar and is mentioned in the Epstein files over 30,000 times.
