Did you know that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) being held at the White (Trash) House this weekend is a lot like the moon landing the United States accomplished in 1969?
That’s what Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared this week when asked how he thought it looked for so-called “President” Donald Trump to be hosting such an event as part of the celebration for his birthday and the nation’s 250th anniversary.
“When President Kennedy announced that we were going to put a man on the moon and return him safely to the Earth, no one thought that was possible. And we did it,” Rubio told reporters. “We are a nation founded on doing what no one else dared to do, and no one else aspired to do. And at some level, that’s what this whole company, what UFC has been.”

That led a panel on the MS NOW Saturday show “The Weekend” to wonder what in the hell Rubio was talking about.
Host Jonathan Capehart said, “I’m just gonna leave that alone.”
However, after referencing a report that Trump was selling “a line of ‘Trump x UFC Freedom 250’ medallions, which are selling for $250 to $12,000,” Capehart couldn’t resist joking, “What in the grift is this?”
While Capehart left it alone, social media users weren’t as reserved, and they lit up Little Marco online:
“Ask not what the UFC can do for you. Ask what you can do for the UFC.”

That’s the stupidest thing I’ve heard in a long time. Which says a lot, cuz Donald Trump is president and we get to see stupidity in our government on a daily basis.

To compare a UFC to the moon landing is next level stupid.

@SecRubio Don’t you have anything better to do as Secretary of State? Maybe the Iran thing. And comparing a fight club to the moon landing is asinine. You have no self-respect or credibility. Grow up and be a man.
