WATCH Ted Lieu Call Marco Rubio Out For Lying About Trump’s Mental Fitness

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) accused Secretary of State Marco Rubio of “lying to Congress” during a contentious hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee today that dealt partially with whether or not Donald Trump is fit for office.

Lieu played three videos of Trump falling asleep during meetings, which outraged Rubio, who remarked, “Oh, my God!”

“That’s false. That’s false. I’ve never seen him fall asleep,” Rubio insisted after the first clip, adding that Trump often calls him at 2 and 5 in the morning. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Secretary Rubio, I’m going to show you in a moment a video that shows you just lied to Congress,” Lieu countered.

The next clip showed Trump dozing off during a discussion of Ukraine.

“You are literally talking about issues of war and peace, and Donald Trump is sleeping right next to you,” Lieu said.

“No, he’s not,” Rubio insisted.

The third video was of the so-called “president” falling asleep during May 25 Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery as Secretary of Defense “Whiskey” Pete Hegseth spoke.

“You’re lying consistently to Congress,” Lieu told Rubio.

Rubio began sputtering that Trump worked “inhumane hours” and never sleeps on overseas flights.

“I assure you, this is not a president that sleeps or is cognitively impaired in any way, shape, or form,” he said.

As his time expired, Lieu told the secretary, “I just showed you three videos of him sleeping.”

Donald Trump loved making fun of former President Joe Biden as being incompetent and unable to focus on the business before him, but it turns out that the soon-to-be 80 years old Dementia Don is the one who can’t stay awake for longer than a few minutes. And that’s what we call karma.
