Donald Trump wants the world to know that absolutely no one is laughing at him or the United States now that he’s president.
Writing on social media Thursday, Trump declared, “The U.S.A. is the ‘HOTTEST’ Country in the World right now.”
“Just a short time ago, under Sleepy Joe Biden, IT WAS DEAD, LAUGHED AT ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! But not anymore – Nobody’s laughing!!! President DJT.”
At an event in Las Vegas later in the day, Trump made similar comments, insisting, “A year ago, our country was an embarrassment. All over the world, they laughed at us.”
As with everything Trump says, his latest boast requires fact-checking.
First of all, a year ago, Dementia Don was president, so apparently, he was being laughed at, despite his declaration.
Also, the United States remains bogged down in an ongoing and foolish war with Iran, which has sent the price of oil skyrocketing and driven up inflation, which rose 3.3% in March.
We are the laughingstock of the world, and the reason is that we have a clown for a president, as Fragile Donnie was reminded.
Memo to Trump: Excuse us if we’re not laughing at the moment. We’re too busy crying over what has become of our country.
