Fox’s Jesse Watters Pitches Hissy Fit Laced With Bigotry Over Midterms: ‘We Lost Whites?!’

Fox News host Jesse Watters said Wednesday evening that he was stunned by how well Democrats did in the midterm elections, and added that he was most perplexed so many white voters cast ballots for Democratic candidates.

Admitting that the GOP got destroyed, Watters noted that the so-called Trump coalition which carried Republicans to victory just two years ago has “totally collapsed.”

“I mean, we lost whites?! Whites! You can’t do that! If you’re a Republican. Men! Hispanics, big time! And so, it’s going to take a while to put the coalition back together, because it was in the heartland.”

“But this was a spanking,” Watters continued. “I mean, this was a severe spanking, which is also a form of punishment. And so maybe the Republicans learned their lesson that if you’re going to make life more expensive for people, you have to be able to sell it.”

“And if you can’t sell it, you’re going to pay for it.”

Watters was far from finished, noting, “The trade war and the Iran war are noble goals, but it’s a five-year deal. And if you’re going to make people who are young, struggling, living paycheck to paycheck have to pay more for stuff and make it harder for them to climb the ladder, it’s not going to go well.”

According to Tufts University, 61% of white voters ages 18 to 29 backed Democratic candidates in the House in the midterms. That number was 54% in 2024. Also, 71% of young Hispanic voters supported Democrats in House races. There was no way Republicans could overcome such a shift, especially since black voters also came out in large numbers.

Even more terrifying for Watters and the GOP is the fact that there’s another election in just two years, and based on Tuesday’s results, Democrats could make more gains, including the White House, which would give complete control of the federal government to Democrats, potentially making them a permanent majority party while Republicans scratch for electoral crumbs.
