Right-wing podcaster Katie Miller thought it would be cute to post an online tribute to her husband, White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, on Halloween, but her attempt at honoring him backfired and got her roasted on social media.
“Find the Anakin in your life,” Miller wrote on Twitter/ X Saturday. Along with the message, she also posted a photo of herself and a friend dressed as Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker’s wife in the “Star Wars” prequels.

Just one tiny problem: While Anakin Skywalker did indeed start out as a hero in the “Star Wars” saga, he eventually went to the dark side and became Darth Vader, a murdering psychopath who turned on his own wife, killed children, and helped enforce the evil will of a dictator hellbent on controlling the universe.
Sound familiar?
Others on Twitter certainly thought so, and they took joy in skewering Mrs. Miller.
He murdered the women and children too

Anakin betrayed the Republic, slaughtered the Jedi, and pledged loyalty to a dictator. Katie Miller really said, "That's my type.

What’s wrong with you? Have you never watched a single Star Wars movie?

So, look for a sniveling, entitled brat who falls for a fascist dictator, murdered kids to prove himself to said fascist, and mortally wounded his wife while she was pregnant because he believed that fascist?

Katie, do us all a favor and delete all of your social media accounts. And while you’re at it, please take an extended leave from public appearances. Oh, and take your husband with you.
