Trump Pouts After Top Stars Refuse His Invitation To White House UFC Bout

Poor Dementia Don! He was hoping that his upcoming birthday soiree at the White House was going to be a star-studded event, but instead, he’s getting rejected by every big-name celebrity he’s invited to join him for a UFC fight on the lawn of what used to be known as “the people’s house.”

According to Vanity Fair, the following stars were asked to attend: Adam Sandler, filmmaker Guy Ritchie, former NFL quaterback Tom Brady, actor Jared Leto, action film star Jason Statham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and TV host Mario Lopez.

However, all of them have said ‘thanks, but no thanks,’ because they don’t want to be associated with a president who is hemorrhaging public support and has an approval rating in the low to mid 30s.

The refusal of big stars to show up for the UFC fight is just the latest humiliation for Trump, who recently had to scale back plans for a musical event, The Daily Beast notes.

“On Friday, Trump announced that he would host a rally in place of June 24’s kickoff of the Great American State Fair on the National Mall, after most of the concert’s lineup backed out of the performance. Several of the artists—including Milli Vanilli, Bret Michaels, and Martina McBride—said they were told the show would be a nonpartisan event before pulling out.”

In response, Trump has enlisted the help of much less-talented musical acts, which he announced on social media, writing, “We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep; we’ve told them all to stay home. All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!”

The current lineup for the concert includes Lee Greenwood and  Christopher Macchio, a 47-year-old opera singer who has a pathetic 571 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Impressive, huh? It was more than enough to earn Donnie a thorough mocking.

I would pay a cool $500 to see Donnie’s face when he realizes his concert and UFC event are almost as big a failure as him.
