Donald Trump just made it clear that he’s no longer a fan of anti-trans activist/former swimmer Riley Gaines, verbally kicking her to the proverbial curb after she dared to criticize him for posting a meme of himself as Jesus Christ.
Shortly after Trump went viral with his post, Gaines said she was flabbergasted by it and suggested he shouldn’t mock God.
“Why? Seriously, I cannot understand why he’d post this. Is he looking for a response? Does he actually think this?” Gaines said.
“Either way, two things are true,” she added. “1) a little humility would serve him well 2) God shall not be mocked.”

Either way, two things are true.
1) a little humility would serve him well
2) God shall not be mocked https://t.co/GViHqWeDEr
That led the notoriously thin-skinned Trump to respond, “I didn’t listen to Riley Gaines. I’m not a big fan of Riley, actually.”
Rather than stand her ground, Gaines immediately backed down, proving that her “beliefs” are little more than a cover for her bigotry.
“I love the President and I’m so grateful he’s in the Oval Office,” she wrote. “At the end of the day, I do nothing for the approval of man. Our purpose on this earth is to glorify Him in all we do.”
“The truth social post missed the mark,” she added. “It’s now deleted. Amazing! We’re imperfect people. I know I am. I don’t get my feelings hurt easy and I know with the President it’s really not personal.”

No reaction yet from Trump or anyone at the White House, but it seems safe to predict that Donnie will keep Gaines at arm’s length until he needs to use her as cover for his own immoral behavior once again.
Riley and Donnie deserve each other. Maybe they can heal their rift by remembering that they’re both disgusting, hateful sacks of crap.
