A recent court loss is likely the last straw for Donald Trump when it comes to keeping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. around as Secretary of Health and Human Services, according to an author who knows Trump well and has written extensively about Dementia Don.
Earlier this week, a federal judge struck down some of Kennedy’s most controversial policies, including revising the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s list of recommended vaccines and changes in the vaccine schedule for children.
And that, according to Michael Wolff, is bad news for Kennedy’s future at HHS.
“I don’t think anything looks good; it’s not a good look,” Wolff said on the podcast of “Inside Trump’s Head.” “And that’s what Trump is going to start to say. That’s the thing that’s going to start to go around in his head.”
Wolff added that “the wheels are coming off” everywhere Trump turns.
“The wheels are coming off … in so many ways,” he said. “And even before the war in Iran started, politically, he was in a very complicated position … His inability to read the room when it comes to putting his name on buildings. I mean, his own numbers are terrible. Sinking. Sinking fast. And then the war comes along. So we’re going to go from a political crisis to a political catastrophe.”
“That’s where we are now, in the second year of the second Trump term,” he added. “We’re getting to the point, because it’s the second term, in which he’s not going to be able to recover.”
Kennedy is a loon. His own family has disowned him, and it’s time he hit the bricks. Of course, Trump could always replace him with an even bigger fool, and there’s certainly no shortage of those in the GOP.
