As hundreds of millions of Americans and other viewers from across the globe were watching the Seattle Seahawks dismantle the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday, the Trump White House dropped an incredibly weird video online that quickly drew widespread head scratching and mockery.
In the video (shown below), a narrator intones, “We don’t do subtle,” and Air Force One flies over while the Seahawks and Patriots watch in rapt awe.
The video then cuts to a shot inside the plane, where it’s announced that we’re now “flying over the Gulf of America.”
“We bet on ourselves and don’t apologize for winning,” the narrator adds.
Flash to shots of a race track, a raucous Trump rally, and fighter pilots taking off from a U.S. Navy ship.
“We say what we mean and we stand by it,” the narrator insists.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio suddenly appears on the screen and says, “If you don’t know, now you know,” to which the narrator adds, “We are fully, proudly, and unapologetically American.”
As the video concludes, Trump stands next to Melania and the two watch fireworks explode over the Washington Monument in what is clearly an AI creation.
Millions of Americans no longer have health insurance, the price of nearly everything continues to rise, and people are being shot to death in the streets by federal law enforcement, but there was money for this pathetic dreck? As one person noted online in response to the video, “All this regime cares about is making shitty commercials to save their shitty reputation.”
Others then joined the dogpile of disgust.
The Trump administration is a joke. Every last member of it needs to be shown the door and investigated for crimes against humanity.
