Saturday was a complete humiliation for Donald Trump, and things aren’t getting any better with the dawning of a new week.
Though we still don’t have official attendance figures for Trump’s birthday parade, it’s safe to say the turnout was nowhere near what he and others at the White House were expecting, according to Moira Donegan of The Guardian.
“If Trump was expecting a display of pomp and pride that rivaled his own egotism, he may have been disappointed. The parade, as it turned out, was something of a disappointing affair. The uniformed soldiers marched irregularly, slightly off beat; the turnout was small and the crowd seemed defeated, low-energy, a bit wilted and unenthused after spending hours in DC’s brutal summer humidity. It rained. It was all a great contrast to the large-scale protests that had exploded across the country earlier that day, with millions taking to the streets in jubilant displays under the banner ‘No Kings'”.
The White House estimated as many as 250,000 people were in attendance for the parade, but it’s unlikely even 25,000 braved the rainy weather to watch an aging wannabe dictator doze off as tanks and troops rolled and marched by in a halfhearted show of force that must have had Russia and North Korea laughing their asses off.
One good thing did manage to come from the Trump parade, however: A new nickname for the Clown-in-Chief created by conservative attorney George Conway, who shared his new monicker on social media.
.@realDonaldTrump tried to play Kim Jong Un for an afternoon, but he’s still just Kim Jong Loon. https://t.co/wcu4Pr8hqW

Did he REALLY THINK people would come to his "birthday parade"?
Everyone at this parade looks like they’re prepping for a colonoscopy
