Yesterday was Flag Day, and in celebration of the event, the U.S. Department of Defense posted an image on social media that featured the words “FLAG DAY” along with an American flag on the right-hand side of the picture.
The message from the DOD read, “Let us honor the emblem of our nation and the stars and stripes that unite us all. As we display our nations flag and reflect on the values it represents, let’s celebrate the freedom, courage and resilience that makes our country great.”
Under the “FLAG DAY” lettering, however, was something quite odd, considering that the day is set aside for celebrations of the U.S. flag, and yet there were some other markings that resembled the Russian flag.
Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Social media reaction was swift and merciless.
Our DoD using Russia’s flag is one hell of a way to find out we’ve been living in a Man in the High Castle timeline all along.

Okay.
You literally have the Russian flag on that? You are the sickest fucks ever. “How dare anyone fly a non American flag” and you do this. You should be arrested and thrown in jail for treason.
