Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has never been the brightest bulb in the shed, and she proved that again with a statement she made shortly after security agents with her department handcuffed Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) and dragged him out of a press conference Noem was holding just because he tried to ask a question.
Noem later appeared on Fox News and remarked, “Nobody knew who he was, he didn’t say who he was. I would have loved to have sat down and had a conversation with him, that coming into a press conference like this is political theater.”
The phrase “political theater” was also reiterated by Noem’s press office, although they decided to use the British spelling of the word “theatre.”
Senator Padilla chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem.

Mr. Padilla was told repeatedly to back away and did not comply with officers’… https://t.co/5TGxrRZ2Ex
But as many people on social media reminded Noem, she’s in no position to accuse anyone else of political theater considering that she frequently appears in public wearing a costume designed to make her look tough, even though she’s little more than a puppy-murdering sack of shit. And they brought the receipts, too.
