King Charles Throws Shade At Trump Over His Lust To Annex Canada

British monarch King Charles made it clear yesterday that while Donald Trump may think he has a chance of annexing Canada as the 51st state, that isn’t going to happen, and the king stands firmly with the Canadians.

Addressing the Canadian parliament, Charles noted, “Many Canadians are feeling anxious and worried about the drastically changing world around them.”

However, he added, “The True North is indeed strong and free,” a unmistakable reference to the Canadian national anthem.

Switching to French, the native language of many Canadians, Charles remarked, “We must face reality: Since the Second World War, our world has never been more dangerous and unstable. Canada is facing challenges that, in our lifetimes, are unprecedented.”

Canada faces a “critical moment,” Charles said, and “self-determination” is one of the values “Canadians hold dear,” throwing shade at Trump while making it clear the British will never relinquish their connections to Canada and consider the American president to be little more than a blustering bully.

A few hours later, Trump reiterated his desire to annex Canada, posting on social media, “I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fabulous Golden Dome System, that it will cost $61 Billion Dollars if they remain a separate, but unequal, Nation, but will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State. They are considering the offer!”

It’s not happening, Donnie, but you’re too stupid to figure that out.
