It would be a monumental understatement to say that the American people are spectacularly unimpressed with Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office.
With an approval rating of a mere 39 percent, Trump is the least popular president the United States has seen in eight decades. That’s longer than most of us have been alive!
Be it the issues of the economy, foreign policy, or immigration, Trump is underwater and losing ground with each disastrous policy announcement or hateful post he makes on social media.
People simply do not like Donald Trump, and he repeatedly reminds them of why they feel that way, according to former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who is now a host at MSNBC.
On her show yesterday, Psaki noted, “As we approach the end of Trump’s first 100 days, it seems he was pretty quick to squander whatever goodwill he came in with, and that’s not just me saying it. Poll after poll after poll ― and I literally mean, there’s so many of them ― is making that all perfectly clear.”
“I think what we’re seeing here, very clearly, is just how badly Donald Trump overplayed his hand,” she added, remarking that Trump pushed his extreme policies by claiming he won a “mandate” during last year’s election. That mandate was hardly a blank check, as he still garnered less than 50% of the votes cast.
“And that is just a fact,” Psaki concluded.
Trump’s tariffs are causing a disastrous trade war that the United States cannot win, and his draconian deportation policies are forcing children undergoing cancer treatment in this country to leave or be separated from their parents forever.
At the moment, Americans have to decide if they want to go down in history with other failed states that refused to change course and wound up destroyed. Because if we don’t, Donald Trump will obliterate us and enslave us in the process.
