Controversial Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has complained for years that Republicans are unable to get their messages out to the public because the news media is biased against conservatives, and yet she’s promising to do that to anyone who dares to disagree with her at an upcoming town hall meeting she will hold later this evening in Cobb County, Georgia.
Greene posted her threat on social media, along with a video in which she says, “You need to understand this is not a place to protest. This isn’t a place to stand up and scream and yell.”
She adds, “If you’re planning to act up, scream, and protest, you’re going to be thrown out, and that’s the way it goes. We know how the Democrat Party is organizing and funding these protests for Republican town halls all across America, and I’m just going to tell you, I don’t tolerate it.”
In Congresswoman Greene’s America, you can speak your mind, but only if you agree with her. Democrats and dissenters need not bother showing up and criticizing her or her political savior, Donald Trump. How convenient!
Of course, the possibility exists that Greene posted her warning not as a deterrent, but to encourage protesters to come to the town hall so she can exploit them for her political benefit. After all, she loves controversy because her policy positions are so radical that most Americans have rejected her bullshit a long time ago.
Greene’s preemptive attack on the First Amendment was blasted.
