Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) walked right into a humiliating critique of his own party and its so-called president with comments he made on Fox News regarding the leadership currently running the nation of Cuba.
Kennedy appeared on Fox shortly after the federal prosecutors filed criminal charges against former Cuban President Raúl Castro over the 1996 downing of civilian planes, calling the late Cuban President Fidel Castro “evil” but “pretty smart.”
The current leaders of the island nation are “asshats,” according to Kennedy. “They are like three-wheeled shopping carts.”
“I mean they are incompetent,” he continued. “All they know how to do is oppress people. They take all their money, and they give it to the military and the police and themselves, and to hell with the good people of Cuba.”
“And that’s not a model for success, and they’re gone, and they just don’t know it yet,” Kennedy added, suggesting that regime change was around the corner.

Social media users couldn’t help but remind Kennedy that his criticism of the Cuban regime could just as easily be applied to the Trump administration and its GOP enablers in Congress.
Is he talking about here or Cuba?

Trump and friends do the exact same thing!
Let’s see senator….. this sounds like someone who’s in office right now that’s doing the exact same thing. The sad thing is you have the balls to do it for Castro but when it’s trump doing it you just kiss his ass and let him do it

Sounds like what Trump is doing right now. They take all the money and we get war and higher prices.

Gosh, do they give all their taxpayers' money to fund a ballroom, arch, deflecting pool, etc.?
