Trumpers Attack Kyle Rittenhouse After He Dares To Endorse Thomas Massie

We’ve all heard the expression that “politics makes for strange bedfellows,” and that’s truer than ever when it comes to the fractures currently taking place inside the Republican Party as the midterm elections draw closer.

Take, for example, the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, the pro-Second Amendment absolutist who was accused of murder but later found not-guilty in the 2020 Kenosha, Wisconsin, shootings that left two men dead.

Appearing at a “Day at the Range” event in Burlington, Kentucky, Rittenhouse enthusiastically endorsed Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who is facing a primary challenge on Tuesday from a candidate supported by so-called President Donald Trump.

Calling Massie “the greatest congressman, I believe, in a very long time,” Rittenhouse praised Massie for voting conservative “92% of the time,” adding that “the 8% he isn’t, he’s voting to expose pedophiles” — a reference to the Epstein Files Transparency Act Massie helped get passed. Trump was vehemently opposed to the Epstein legislation.

Trump has endorsed Massie’s opponent, retired Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein, and viciously attacked the incumbent on social media, calling him “disloyal.”

“Tom Massie of Kentucky, the worst and most unreliable Republican Congressman in the history of our Country, is an even bigger insult to our Nation than Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who suffered an unprecedented loss tonight by not even being allowed to run in the Republican Primary,” Trump wrote Sunday morning on Truth Social.

Rittenhouse also made an endorsement of Massie via the internet.

That didn’t sit well with some in the MAGA/Trump movement, and they pounced, attacking the same accused murderer they had once lauded for gunning down two people.

Looks like the rattlesnakes are starting to turn on each other. Good! Maybe they’ll help guarantee a Democratic House and Senate so we can boot Dementia Don from office.
