Half-Empty Rally In Deep Red State Proves Trump’s Political Support Has Collapsed

Last night, Donald Trump held a political rally in Mobile, Alabama, to stir up support for Republican candidates running in the midterm elections, but based on the pathetic turnout, it seems Donnie’s support has cratered even in a state that has long been a GOP stronghold.

As MS NOW host Jen Psaki noted Friday evening on her show, half the seats at the Mobile venue were empty.

“Even in ruby red Alabama, enthusiasm for Trump and his gimmick seems to be waning. Here was the scene from inside the venue at Trump’s big Alabama rally tonight. Trump couldn’t even fill half the seats in the arena.”

“That venue holds 10,000 people,” Psaki said. “And when Trump kicked off his presidential campaign in 2015, he was able to fill an arena three times that size in the exact same city.”

“It’s like a visual representation of his political decline,” she added.

The latest polls show just how far Trump has fallen and how bad the midterm elections will be for him and Republicans.

The Wall Street Journal shows Trump with a 37% approval rating, the lowest for an incumbent heading into midterms since 1990.

A recent Quinnipiac University Poll showed Trump at 34% approval, 61% disapproval.

In the AP-NORC Poll, Trump reached a new career low, with economic approval sliding to 26%.

And in the Reuters/Ipsos Poll, Trump’s overall approval dropped to 32%.

A Blue Wave is coming, and the fact that Trump cannot even draw a full house in Alabama proves that even voters who once enthusiastically cast a ballot for him are sick and tired of his lies.
