JD Vance: If What I Do Leads To The End Of The World, ‘That’s OK’

Are dangerous religious psychopaths running the U.S. government, and if so, could they be an existential threat to this country and the world?

That question needs to be asked by every American of voting age, because Vice President JD Vance admitted Tuesday that his actions and those of his boss, so-called “President” Donald Trump, may well bring about the end of the world as we know it.

But Vance says there’s no need to lose sleep over the fact that he and the current administration may bring about the apocalypse, because they’re “OK” with that if it happens.

During an interview with Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford, Vance was asked if he ever thought about the Biblical “end times.”

Vance laughed and replied, “I have for my entire life been fascinated by end-times prophecy and theology.” He also said it wouldn’t surprise him if the Antichrist is currently “walking among us.”

“What I’m trying to focus on is doing as much of God’s work as possible right now, and if that leads to the end times, okay,” he added. “And if that leads to, you know, us building a better world that thrives and survives for a very long time after I’m gone, that’s great, too.”

“I just think you’ve got to kind of try to have an attitude of the end times may be coming,” the VP continued. “In fact, they are coming; it’s just a question of whether they’re coming thousands of years down the road or a few months down the road, and we’ve got a lot of work to do right now.”

Vance’s remarks didn’t sit well with lots of people on social media, and they gave him holy hell online.

Memo to JD Vance: Take your apocalyptic bullshit and go straight to hell. That’s where you belong.
