White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, much like the dolt she works for, is not good with numbers, which may explain why she’s the perfect spokesperson for the oft-bankrupt clown currently serving as president of the United States.
According to Leavitt, Donald Trump is such a great negotiator that he will reduce the price of prescription drugs by “300 percent.”
During the Monday press briefing, Leavitt told reporters, “Look, the president is definitely committed to fixing and improving the health care system. You saw it when he had one of the largest pharmaceutical companies promising to lower drug prices by 200, 300, 100%.”

200? 300? 100? Really?! That’s impossible, even if you’re as mathematically-challenged as it seems every member of this administration is. How do you lower something further than 100 percent? Will the drug companies start paying us to take their prescription medications? And if so, wouldn’t that lead to their financial collapse?
Leavitt was dragged on social media for her absurd comment.
This is an objectively dishonest statement. It is mathematically impossible to lower prices by more than a hundred percent. Fifth graders know this.

A reduction in price of 100% makes the product free. Any more than 100% reduction in price and the seller has to pay the consumer to take it.

Why does no one correct them on this absolute nonsense?
Funny, I haven’t noticed any pharmaceutical companies paying me to take their drugs.

“Lowering prices by 300%” — math so bad it needs medical attention.
This isn’t healthcare reform, it’s stand-up comedy with a body count.
Looking forward to getting paid when I roll up to Walgreens.

I wish someone would ask her how much a drug that currently costs $100 would cost with a 300% discount?

Make math great again
