White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt got busted telling a blatant lie about her boss and was quickly given a history lesson on social media.
During an interview on Fox News, Leavitt said that Donald Trump’s attack on Iran’s suspected nuclear facilities over the weekend is proof that he has the “strength” his predecessors in the White House lacked.
“And nobody knows what it means to accomplish peace through strength better than President Trump. He is the one who came up with that motto, and that foreign policy doctrine, and he successfully implemented it in his first term.”

Actually, Trump didn’t come up with the motto “peace through strength,” but Karoline is too stupid and too brainwashed to know the truth of the matter.
“’Peace through strength’” has been used in American politics for decades, including by 1964 Republican presidential candidate Barry Goldwater and, perhaps most famously, by President Ronald Reagan,” HuffPost notes.
“It’s the motto of the USS Ronald Reagan and has made frequent appearances in Republican campaign platforms since Reagan’s time.”
The press secretary was given a much-needed online history lesson.
"Peace through strength" was a key foreign policy doctrine of President Ronald Reagan. Her lies are much worse when she's not wearing her cross.

Leavitt is an idiot or she is just a liar. Trump never came up with the idea of slogan, Peace through Strength. The slogan "peace through strength" has ancient roots, often traced to Roman Emperor Hadrian (AD 76–138), who used military power to secure peace, symbolized by…

I guess Propaganda Barbie doesn't realize that the exact motto was used by Reagan, among others. You know what else was used by Reagan? "Make America Great Again" was a campaign slogan of his. You can still find campaign buttons with it. Trump is an imitator, not a leader.

It's amazing. The dictionary must have only been 20 pages long before @realDonaldTrump came along and started making up new words and phrases.

What a bunch of fucktards. Only one's worse are the idiots who believe them.
Does it surprise you she thinks/ says Trump invented Peace Through Strength? Like her statements about the tariffs, she either isn’t well informed or she thinks we are all stupid and will buy her lies. https://t.co/6fcbKwp7gk
