‘Blasphemous’ Video At 2nd Night Of GOP Midterm Convention Gives Off Major Cult Vibes

Night Two of the GOP midterm convention — an event that never existed until a desperate Donald Trump created it to try and make himself relevant — was like something out of Jim Jones’ Guyana compound circa 1978. All that was missing was the cyanide-laced Kool-Aid.

As he did on the first night, Trump again gave a keynote address in which he boasted of fake accomplishments, suggested the country would literally go to hell if Republicans lose control of Congress, and even featured a video that many thought was nothing short of blashemous.

The video was a riff on Paul Harvey’s 1978 “So God Made a Farmer” speech. But in this iteration, God made Trump so he could save the United States.

“And on June 14th, 1946, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, ‘I need a caretaker,’” the narrator says. “So God gave us Trump.”

“God said, ‘I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, fix this country, work all day, fight the Marxist, eat supper then go to the Oval Office and stay past midnight and a meeting of the heads of state.’ So God made Trump.”

Wow! As one of my grandmother’s would have said, Whoever made that video is going to bust hell wide open.

Then again, it’s not an exaggeration to say that Trump himself is a minion for Satan, though he’d probably hate that comparison and consider himself much more evil and powerful than Lucifer.

Reaction to the “God Gave Us Trump” video shown to attendees was immediate and righteously harsh.
