Vice President JD Vance was in Michigan on Monday for a campaign rally in support of GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers, but he spent most of his time attacking Rogers’ Democratic opponent, Abdul El-Sayed, and his hateful comments wound up boomeranging badly on him.
During his remarks, Vance claimed he’d “realized that there’s something about Abdul El-Sayed that is very, very evil and on the rise in the United States of America today.”
“it’s people who see themselves not as citizens of a common nation, fighting for every single person, whether they’re Jewish or Christian, whether they’re white or black or brown, but see themselves as fighting for one group at the expense of others,” the VP added.
That, Vance insisted, is how “you destroy the United States of America.”

Has JD met the douchebag he works for?! No one is more divisive than Donald Trump, and he constantly tries to pit one group of Americans against another.
And let’s not forget that during the 2016 presidential race, JD himself helped spread the hateful lie that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were abducting and eating people’s cats and dogs. Trump also disseminated that noxious rumor, even though he was never able to provide any actual evidence to support the accusation.
Fortunately, people who heard or read Vance’s comments saved their receipts and were eager to set the douchebag Veep straight.
@VP #hypocrite – now apologize to the #Haitians, who you claimed are cats and dogs – and are now deporting – the Somalians, Palestinians, and other people of color in this nation that live in fear under YOUR toxic regime of #MAGA / #Trump / #Vance / @GOP due to your #LIES. https://t.co/TEv8MJ2tJ7

This administration has only let in white South African refugees

YOU are the guys “eroding the foundations of commonality”
Meanwhile, let’s remember the words of JD Vance about another ethnic group: “Months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio. Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and…

Boy, you gotta be really stupid, really delusional, or really tone deaf to talk about “ethnic groups” and “commonalities” when you’re part of a cabinet that looks like this 👆

Right @JDVance ? pic.twitter.com/s16qzSfvwD
Unlike when you, or someone very close to you, declares all Democrats to be socialists, communists, America haters or a dozen other insults because the rubes eat it up, and Fox will run it all damn day.

JFC. What a fucking lying hypocrite. This administration is racially profiling everyone who is brown, deporting US citizens on that basis, abruptly ending valid immigration status for thousands and only accepting white "refugees." @VP @JDVance @ICEgov @SecMullinDHS

Uhhh….."I think the people whose ancestors fought in the Civil War have a hell of a lot more claim over America than the people who say they don't belong." — JD Vance, 7/5/25

Dear @JDVance here is the result of the lie you told about Haitian immigrants eating the dogs and the cats. You are an affront to decency. https://t.co/FQqZrrY8OF

"But when you admit you made up a lie about an ethnic group eating their neighbors' pets, why, that's just community building."

This motherfucker @JDVance has not a shred of human decency or shame.
You can expect to hear more of this disgusting bullshit from Trump, Vance, and every Republican running for election in the midterms. It’s all they have left. Their policies are about to bankrupt the country, their war with Iran is failing, and so they turn to hate and fear. Their playbook is as old and disgusting as the KKK and neo-Nazis that spawned them.
