Shortly after news broke Tuesday that country music superstar Dolly Parton had died after a battle with cancer, Ivanka Trump thought she would join the online tributes that were pouring in to honor the late singer/songwriter.
On Twitter/X, Ivanka posted, “A couple years ago on @lexfridman podcast I cited a piece of wisdom from @DollyParton that has resonated within me since I first heard it. ‘I don’t criticize and condemn; I love and accept.’ That quote, like so much of what made Dolly Parton an American icon, was deceptively simple — uncomplicated on its face but profound and deeply moving beneath the surface. Goodbye to a bright light. A peerless singer, incredible songwriter, gifted comic actress, tireless philanthropist, accomplished businesswoman and true original. We never met but I adored and admired Dolly greatly.”

That quote, like so much of what made Dolly Parton an American icon, was deceptively…
However, Ivanka’s words didn’t sit well with many on social media, and they weren’t shy about giving her a piece of their minds.
She was what you will never be.

Dolly was a very authentic and philanthropic person. She gave so much to her community and the world.
You and your family are corrupt grifters who are destroying our country.
How dare you use this legend to better yourself when you know that you and your family are the exact opposite of what @DollyParton stood for. You can go and get fucked, and tell your fucking dad from me he’s a piece of shit.

It’s amazing what truly decent people can do with their fortune. She mailed free books to children every month, sent instruments and uniforms to schools in the South, donated millions to hurricane recovery, donated to childhood cancer research and covid vaccine development. She…

She was referring to the same people that your father criticizes, bullies, and condemns.
You, your disgusting grifter family don’t deserve to speak the name of someone who was the best of the best human beings. Who always demonstrated character, a slew of incredible traits that none of you have, will never possess. Scum vs. the one of best humans being in this life

And Dolly hated everything you and your disgusting family stands for so you might want to sit this one out Babe.

Dolly was the best of America.

You and your Dad are the worst of America.
With grace, creativity, humanity and love, Dolly made the world a better place.
— ChrissyCatnip (@ChrisCatnipMeow) August 26, 2026
With greed, division, cruelty, and hate, you and your family made the world a much worse place.
You are not the same.
You don’t have right to cite anything from a woman like Dolly. She was a ray of sunshine in the darkness that your family has created. You are the plague in this world right now and she was the light.

It may have “resonated“ with you….in other words you thought it would make you look good to say it on a podcast — because you certainly don't practice or live it.

You and your family are corrupt piles of shit. Don’t dare say Dolly’s name. She was the complete opposite of you.
