Even though Leavitt was little more than a paid liar who parroted whatever her boss told her to say, the thought of the addled 80-year-old Trump at the podium for endless press briefings (ever seen an 8-hour presser? It would become the norm with the amphetamine-boosted POTUS running the show) is enough to give you a migraine from hell.
In a sense, Trump is the perfect person to be his press secretary, because anyone he hires will merely be repeating the lies he’s fed them. Might as well get those fabrications right from the source.
