For some time now, it’s been clear that Donald Trump’s brain has devolved into little more than oatmeal, and a word he couldn’t recall during an Oval Office photo op Monday is further proof that he’s in the advanced stages of dementia.
Asked about a decision by U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro dropping criminal charges against former Olympic athlete David Hearn, who had been accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, Trump began spouting all sorts of angry phrases.
Pirro “folded like an umbrella,” Trump whined. He insisted that the government had evidence proving Hearn was the culprit, but he wasn’t able to explain exactly what that evidence consisted of.
“We have photographs, or tapes,” he said, making a circular gesture with his hands. Like moving cameras, right?”
Oh, you mean videos? Do you have videos of the event? If so, where are they, and why are you not able to say the word “videos?”
But the fact that Dementia Don couldn’t even manage to pull up a word that most two-year-old kids would have no problem saying set of alarm bells and plenty of social media mockery.
Remember how Trump loved to make fun of Joe Biden for being mentally incompetent? Well, as the old saying goes, it takes one to know one, even if you see it on the moving camera.
