So-called “President” Donald Trump announced Tuesday evening that he was endorsing a candidate in the state of Michigan who is running for a seat in the House of Representatives.
No big deal, right?
Wrong! And the reason proves the complete bigotry and depravity of the MAGA movement.
Trump made his formal endorsement on social media, posting this:
“It is my Great Honor to endorse Amir Hassan, who is running to represent the fantastic people of Michigan’s 8th Congressional District!
“From bravely fighting for our incredible U.S. Navy, to protecting his Community as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Amir has served our Nation with distinction, and will bring that same Fighting Spirit to the U.S. Congress. His opponent, Kristen McDonald Rivet, voted against NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY and, if she and the Dumocrats ever got in, all of these things would be terminated. She wants massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender for Everybody. On the other hand, Amir will work hard to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Great Military/Veterans, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.
“Amir Hassan has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Michigan’s 8th Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”
The fact that Trump was putting his support behind someone named Amir Hassan didn’t sit well with many Trump supporters, and they immediately suggested that Hassan was a Muslim, despite his personal declaration that “Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior.”
It didn’t take long before Trump was pelted with hateful responses. Take a look:
“What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul,” one Trump supporter wrote. “No political gain is worth insulting our Christian faith. No Muslims in America. No Muslims in office.”
“Have you lost your mind, endorsing Muslim candidates ? Don’t we have enough of them in Government already ? Between taxes and Islam, I’ll take taxes. Once Muslims get power if you are non-Muslim and they don’t kill you first, you also have to pay a special tax to live in their countries. What has happened to you ? You are not the man that I voted for three times, you have no wisdom whatsoever where Islam is concerned, you are arming people or wanting to arm people “Turkey” that hate us and Israel, that someday will come for us. Now you endorse Muslims, Muslims that shouldn’t even be allowed to hold office in America any more than Socialist or Communist should be allowed to do. Laws were passed against all three, from our founding fathers to Eisenhower , do those laws mean nothing ? Do they still exist ? And what of Iran…another pause ? You brag that Israel would be no more without you, NO, Mr. President, Israel is still God’s chosen people and without us, they will still stand. God has fought for them before and He will again.”
“YOU ARE BEING MISLED, President Trump! This guy is a snake in the grass. Muslim and never voted for a republican in his whole life. Moved to Michigan last summer and immediately filed to run for office. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!”
