The arrest last Saturday of Andrew and Tristan Tate in Miami on charges of rape and sex trafficking has already led to embarrassing questions regarding Donald Trump’s connections to the two controversial members of what’s known as the “manosphere,” a network of online communities that promote anti-feminism, aggressive ideas about masculinity, and the belief that gender equality harms men.
And now we have leaked text messages from the Tate brothers that could also potentially implicate the president’s youngest son, Barron, in activities that may prove to be incredibly embarrassing for him, The Globe explained earlier this week.
“A Wednesday, July 22, report in journalist Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack points to Andrew’s link to President Donald Trump‘s youngest son, Barron Trump.”
“The Barron angle has added another layer of attention to an already high-profile case,” a political insider told Shuter.
“Whether the connection is meaningful or not,” the political insider added, “it’s raising questions that many Republicans would rather not answer.”
Those concerns were echoed by influential political analyst Adam Mockler, who posted on social media, “BREAKING: Leaked Andrew Tate texts are looking VERY bad for the Trump admin…”
“Texts from Andrew Tate reveal that a Trump admin official directly intervened on the Tate brothers behalf in early 2025 to stall the sex trafficking investigation.”
“I had word from The Trump admin that theyre on top of things,” wrote Andrew Tate via text.
“Tate’s former lawyer, Paul Ingrassia, is now a Trump admin official, and is the one who requested the Tate brothers devices be returned to them.”
“You may remember Paul Ingrassia from his leaked texts last year in which he said he “has a Nazi streak” and uses old slurs.
JD Vance still follows the Tate brothers on Twitter. Barron is friends him them. All of this happened after Andrew admitted to being a pimp on camera.”
Here’s the conundrum both Barron Trump and his father face: If it can be established that their connections to Andrew and Tristan Tate include knowledge of the Tates’ criminal behavior, they could be compelled to testify before a grand jury. That testimony could then come back to haunt them in the form of legal ramifications down the line.
