Pete Buttigieg Dunks On Stephen Miller For His ‘Ideological Gibberish’

Former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg said this morning on MS NOW that Americans “can always rely on Stephen Miller” when it comes to saying disgusting and offensive things regarding issues that matter most to the country.

During a discussion of how the Trump administration is actively cracking down on anyone who dares to dissent from the president, Buttigieg asked, “What are our officials doing? Are they trying to lead a country where people have different values and different political opinions, and the whole point is that we live together as one country?”

“Or are they trying to demonize, dehumanize and harm fellow Americans?”

Miller, who serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, went on the attack this week during an event at which he decried “left-wing terrorism” and vowed to “disrupt, identify, defund, debank, arrest, and prosecute” anyone who disagrees with Trump’s policies.

“To spout ideological gibberish at every opportunity,” Buttigieg noted, “you can always rely on Stephen Miller.”

Indeed, Miller does have nefarious plans for those who diverge from his view of the world, Zeteo’s Andrew Perez wrote this week.

“Miller has always dreamed of crushing the left. Now, he’s getting to use the full force of the federal government to lead an all-out war on liberals, progressives, and leftists – and he’s throwing it in all our faces with his characteristically apocalyptic and authoritarian rhetoric.”

Miller and the entire Trump administration are a direct threat to the most basic rights found in the Constitution: Freedom of speech, a free and independent press, and the right to dissent. Once those are gone, the United States will be little more than a 21st-century version of Nazi Germany.
