CNN’s Jake Tapper Humiliates Trump By Using His Own Words Against Him

Jake Tapper of CNN did a masterful job of proving what a clueless hypocrite Donald Trump is when he talks about his war with Iran, and video of his remarks is going viral online.

In a primetime address Trump gave this week, the so-called president claimed that Iran had been “completely decimated.”

“Iran’s military says it has struck a second U.S. combat plane today, claiming an A-10 Thunderbolt II, called the Warthog, crashed into the waters of the Persian Gulf,” Tapper noted.

That was followed by more video from Trump’s speech in which he bragged, “We’ve beaten and completely decimated Iran. They are decimated both militarily and economically and in every other way.”

Tapper: “One of the most basic rules of military strategy is don’t forget the enemy gets a vote. Today’s developments raise questions about what President Trump just asserted there.”

Referencing a report from his network, Tapper said, Roughly half of Iran’s missile launchers are still intact, and thousands of one-way attack drones remain in Iran’s arsenal.”

“Obviously, I don’t want to downplay the fact that the U.S. military has done a tremendous amount of damage to the Iranian military. At this juncture of the war, especially when the president is claiming we’re two or three weeks away from ending the whole thing, at least one U.S. fighter jet has been shot down, if not two, including the Warthog.”

As he so often does, Donald Trump is caught in a web of lies that he created and cannot extricate himself from. That is unacceptable from anyone in a position of power, but it’s a direct threat to the national security of the United States when it’s done by the commander-in-chief of our armed forces.
