Now that he’s being universally mocked as “TACO Trump” (TACO=Trump Always Chickens Out), the deeply insecure Donald Trump is lashing out at his predecessor, suggesting that former President Joe Biden was “executed in 2020” and replaced with a clone.
On Saturday evening, Trump shared a post on his Truth Social account stating the absurd conspiracy theory, Newsweek notes.
“Late on Saturday night, the 78-year-old president shared a post from a small, pro-Trump account which read: ‘There is no #JoeBiden—executed in 2020.'”
“It goes on to say that the real Biden was replaced by ‘clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities,’ and that Democrats ‘don’t know the difference.'”
This comes just a day after Trump said during a press gaggle in the Oval Office with Twitter CEO Elon Musk that he didn’t have any sympathy for Biden, who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
“If you feel sorry for him, don’t feel sorry. Because he’s so vicious. What he did with his political opponent and all of the people that he hurt—he hurt a lot of people Biden. And so I really don’t feel sorry for him.”
Of course, what Trump conveniently neglected to mention is that he lost the 2020 election to Biden, and he still hasn’t gotten over that defeat. He’s trying to make excuses for his loss, but the more he does so, the weaker he looks.
Trump is also still reeling from being mocked with the TACO Trump monicker, which has reportedly enraged him.
“It’s a window into what may offend Trump the most: He took clear umbrage with the idea that people perceive his tariff adjustments as weakness. Trump’s real-time response also demonstrated his view that the shorthand diminished what he sees as an essential negotiating tactic on trade. He explained on Wednesday that sometimes he sets ‘a ridiculous high number’ for tariff rates and then relents if other nations give in to his demands.”
“’It clearly bothered him, primarily because it demonstrated a lack of understanding about how he actually utilizes those threats for leverage,’ said one person familiar with the matter. ‘But obviously he’s not a guy who looks kindly on weakness, so the idea anyone would think that with respect to his actions isn’t received well.'”
In other words, Donald Trump hates when someone calls him out for being a wimp. But that’s what he’s always been and that’s what he’ll always be. He’s weak, ineffectual, and thin-skinned.
