Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth got a chilly reception during a speech at the Association of the United States Army gathering in Washington, D.C. which was held to discuss the use of autonomous systems for killing people in battle.
Brianna Reilly of Punchbowl News was in attendance and reported, “Sec Hegseth speaking now at AUSA about DOD’s push to adopt autonomous systems. He’s already been interrupted by five different protesters, who are each escorted out by security.”
“You’re a war criminal,” one of them shouted at Hegseth, who responded: “She thinks highly of me.”
Another protester shouted to Hegseth, “Why are you all here making money off of bombs killing my family?”
“[W]hat the f— is wrong with you,” a third protester said to the Defense chief.
The protesters were removed from the event, proving yet again that no one in the Trump administration can stand it when they’re confronted with facts or attempts to hold them accountable.
Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth have gotten the United States into yet another endless war in the Middle East. It’s Afghanistan and Iraq all over again, and this time we have fools running the show, which means we’re bound to spend trillions of dollars and get nothing in return except higher prices and hatred aimed directly at the U.S.
