Melania Brutally Mocked After She Tries To Lecture Women On Motherhood

First Lady Melania Trump thought it’d be a good idea to write an op-ed for the Washington Post and lecture American women on being role models as Mother’s Day approaches.

But that was a MASSIVE mistake, and the only good thing that came from her efforts was the snarky comments her sermon drew.

In the column, Mrs. Trump notes that mothers are “the foundation” of American democracy and the “first teachers of empathy, aspiration and discipline.”

She also calls for “restoring the honor of motherhood after years in which feminism often placed career above family, with consequences to our nation.”

That was all it took for readers to remind Melania that her husband is a sexist pig and that she’s hardly a good role model for women in this country or any other, for that matter.

“Motherhood has never been dishonored,” one person wrote. “The only thing that dishonors mothers is when a husband cheats on his wife with another woman and fathers a child out of wedlock. You might want to address that with both your husband and Pete Hegseth.”

“She lives a life of excess and materialism and she’s telling mothers—some who work two and three jobs—to do more at home but make sure they take time for self care?” She has raised an entitled nepotism baby and has done NOTHING with her platform as first lady. What a disgrace,” another person noted.

Some doubted the piece had even been penned by the first lady.

“Donald Trump, five children from three wives, and brags about grabbing them by the you-know-what. There’s a moral voice for you,” one wrote. “Does Bezos’ devotion to the Trumps have no bottom? Also, clearly not written by Melania.”

Is Melania Trump the sort of person we want lecturing us on how to be good mothers? If so, then we might just as well start taking advice on childcare from Susan Smith and Andrea Yates.
