Now that he’s done the bidding of the Israeli government and attacked Iran with the U.S. military, Donald Trump is insisting that he be involved in the process of choosing the next leader of the embattled Middle Eastern nation.
Speaking with Axios, Trump said he would not accept Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the former supreme leader as the leader of Iran.
“They are wasting their time,” Trump groused. “Khamenei’s son is a lightweight.”
“I have to be involved in the appointment, like with Delcy [Rodriguez] in Venezuela,” he added.
Any leader for Iran must be acceptable to the United States, Trump said, and it cannot be someone who would force the United States to strike the country again “in five years.”
“Khamenei’s son is unacceptable to me. We want someone that will bring harmony and peace to Iran.”
So who might be a good choice for Iran? Trump was unable to come up with a name, probably because he hasn’t done any research on the issue and isn’t smart enough to make an informed decision.
“Most of the people we had in mind are dead,” he said.
Is that right? And who killed them? Oh, that was none other than Donald Trump, who is still being led around like a dog on a leash by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The United States has the weakest and most feckless leader in the world. Why should we let him choose anything? He’s not even capable of changing his own diaper.
