The reason Donald Trump launched military action against Iran earlier this morning may have absolutely nothing to do with foreign policy, nuclear weapons, or even an attempt to topple the Iranian regime.
Instead, it may be a tactic Trump and his top advisers will use to cancel the November midterm elections.
In a social media post the president made around the same time he announced the Iran attack, he referenced a conspiracy theory that Iran had interfered in the 2020 election to help elect Joe Biden.
Donald Trump had just posted on Truth Social what appears to be a justification for war with Iran, claiming Tehran tried to interfere in the 2020 and 2024 U.S. elections. Keep in mind that Trump has also suggested that Venezuela meddled in the 2020 election, though he has never produced a shred of evidence to prove his dubious assertion. And he later sent U.S. troops to kidnap Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro and bring him back to the United States for what is likely to be little more than a show trial with a predetermined verdict.
Also, there are numerous reports that Trump and some of his top aides are looking for ways to postpone the midterm elections out of fear that Trump and Republicans will lose badly, which could lead to numerous investigations of Donnie and his criminal co-conspirators, including in-depth probes of his ties to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The very hint of Trump attacking Iran to divert attention from his real scheme led a firestorm online.
Oh forbthe love of god.

Here is the real reason. Drum up imminent threat to launch a war on Iran. Use the war on Iran to create an “emergency”. Lob bs claims that Iran “interfered” with election to push emergency order to try to take over elections. https://t.co/OQ0Lo7LaDk

Now ask yourself this question: Is Trump capable of such evil? Anyone who was best friends with Jeffrey Epstein for decades is capable of anything.
