California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is warning that while Donald Trump and his policies are a clear and present danger to the United States and the world, there may actually be a Republican who is even scarier.
Speaking with MS NOW’s Jen Psaki, Newsom slammed Trump’s biggest allies, branding them as “frauds” and “phonies” who can sense that the president is a threat yet continue to pledge their loyalty to him.
But perhaps the biggest GOP threat is Vice President JD Vance, Newsom noted.
“Vance, for whatever reason, scares me almost more than Trump. Talk about a guy who put a mask on and his face grew into it.”
The governor also slammed Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for originally being harsh critics of Trump and now cozying up to him.
“What frauds! What phonies!” Newsom said. “But JD’s a unique fraud and phony, and he’s a little more dangerous.”
JD Vance isn’t even sure who he is. He began life as James Donald Bowman, changed his name to JD Vance, and then became a willing puppet for tech billionaire Peter Thiel. Oh, and he’s also a massive douchebag who proudly defends even the most indefensible positions, such as shooting unarmed Americans for daring to protest, deeply cutting social welfare programs that his mother depended on when she was raising him, and starting wars all over the world to prove American dominance.
Vance is indeed a dangerous man who doesn’t belong a heartbeat away from the presidency. And if he winds up facing Newsom in the 2028 presidential election, expect the California Democrat to expose all of Vance’s dirty laundry.
