Trump Hints That Mexico Is The Next Country He Plans To Invade

Now that he has attacked Venezuela and taken its president, Nicolás Maduro, into custody, Donald Trump is making it clear that his thirst for other military actions has not yet been satisfied.

Speaking with the hosts of “Fox & Friends” this morning, the so-called president of the United States suggested similar actions might have to be taken in Mexico.

When asked if the Venezuela attack was a “message” to Mexico, Trump replied, “It wasn’t meant to be [a message to Mexico], and we’re very friendly with [Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum]; she’s a good woman, but the cartels are running Mexico, she’s not running Mexico.”

“We could be politically correct and be nice, but no, she’s very frightened of the cartels, they’re running Mexico. I’ve asked her numerous times: ‘would you like us to take out the cartels’ – ‘no, no, no Mr. President, please,’ so we have to do something. We lost 300,000 people in my opinion to drugs, and they come in through the Southern Border. Something’s gonna have to be done with Mexico.”

Interestingly, Trump’s former deputy national security advisor, Victoria Coates, said something similar during an interview with Fox, noting that Sheinbaum “is probably legitimately concerned” that she “could be subject to this kind of thing.”

Translation: The “peace president” is anything but. Trump wants war if it means he can distract from the endless problems he has with the economy, health care, and the Epstein files. As the old saying goes, A cornered rat is the most dangerous.
