As the oldest sitting president in U.S. history, it’s fair to suggest that Donald Trump’s health is likely to get worse instead of better, especially since we know he already has some preexisting medical conditions (obesity, chronic venous insufficiency) that could conceivably lead to more serious medical issues.
So will Trump get ill in 2026? The answer is a resounding “yes” from shamans in Peru who gathered this week for their annual ritual as the New Year arrives in two days, Reuters reports.
“The United States should prepare itself because Donald Trump will fall seriously ill,” Juan de Dios Garcia proclaimed as he gathered with other shamans on a beach in southern Lima, wearing colorful ponchos and sprinkling flowers on the sand.
There were other predictions for leaders around the world, including Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro.
“We see Nicolas Maduro defeated,” said Garcia. “Nicolas Maduro will flee Venezuela. He will not be captured.”
That would certainly be welcome news to Trump, who is actively engaged in a military campaign against Venezuela without the approval of Congress. But will Donnie be healthy enough to brag on social media if and when Maduro is ousted?
Here’s a thought: How about we send Trump and Maduro to the same deserted island? The world would be a better place without them.
