Sen Chris Coons (D-DE) set off alarm bells among MS NOW hosts this morning when he made reference to a $22,000 check written by Donald Trump to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, and in doing so exposed a dirty secret and sick inside joke the so-called “president” shared with Epstein.
Discussing the failure of the Justice Department to release all of its files related to Epstein by the Friday deadline in direct violation of a congressional demand, Coons remarked, “There were some new photos released of different powerful men in and around the company of Epstein. One thing that I hadn’t seen before was the sort of big fake check of $22,000 to Epstein from Trump, with some reference to having sold a girl. I do think there’s more here, and it’s worth more investigations to get to the bottom of this and put this to rest and respect the victims.”
Clearly taken aback by the remark, co-host Jackie Alemany inquired, “Senator, I’m sorry. That last claim that you just made. Would you mind expanding on that a little bit?”
“I literally just saw this in an online search as I was coming to this interview about what’s new in the Epstein files,” Coons replied. “My impression from a brief review of several articles was that there was a photo of a fake check, the sort that’s given at big events at what I think was Epstein’s 50th birthday party by President Trump. I probably should be better grounded in citing that, but it was one of the things I don’t remember having heard about before.”
“Got it. Okay,” Alemany responded. “And our producer is saying there is a check in the files. We just we are not able to speculate further about the context of that check.”
The Guardian reported in September, “A scrapbook for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday released on Monday contains a photo of him holding a novelty check bearing Donald Trump’s signature, along with a note suggesting Epstein ‘sold’ him a woman for $22,500, shedding further light on the longtime relationship between the president and the convicted sex offender.
The photo shows Epstein and Joel Pashcow, a longtime member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, and a third figure, apparently a woman, whose face is redacted in the image, which was shared on social media by Democrats on the House oversight committee. The caption, apparently from Pashcow, reads: ‘Jeffrey showing early talents with money + women! Sells ‘fully depreciated’ [redaction] to Donald Trump for $22,500.'”
“Epstein “showed early ‘people skills’ too”, the caption continued. ‘Even though I handled the deal I didn’t get any of the money on the girl!'”
“The check is signed ‘DJ Trump’ in a style that differs from most of his signatures at the time. And asked about the check Tuesday, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said, ‘It is not Donald Trump’s signature. … The president did not sign that check.'”
Even as a joke, bragging about selling a girl is not exactly the sort of thing most men do. Then again, Donald Trump is not most men. Instead, he’s clearly a deranged and perverted weasel who belongs behind bars for the rest of his life.
