Donnie’s Latest Hypocritical Attempt To Quote The Bible Backfires Badly

According to Donald Trump, the Bible is the greatest book ever written, even though he clearly has never read it.

Remember when Donnie was asked for a few of his favorite verses from the Bible back in 2015?

“I wouldn’t want to get into it because to me that’s very personal. You know, when I talk about the Bible, it’s very personal, so I don’t want to get into verses,” Trump said, adding, “The Bible means a lot to me, but I don’t want to get into specifics.”

He didn’t want to “get into specifics” because he doesn’t know any Bible verses! I’m willing to bet he has never once read a single chapter of the book, if only because he’s not very bright and the language would be too complex for him to understand.

Yet despite this, the Hypocrite-in-Chief decided he’d reference the “good book” once again on Thursday during a White House event launching first lady Melania Trump’s “Fostering the Future” initiative, which is meant to expand opportunities for children in foster care.

Donnie proclaimed, “The Bible tells us that one of the measures of any society is how it cares for vulnerable children and orphans. So important, and it is so big in the Bible. So, as we make America great again, we’re going to protect American children in foster care and we’re going to ensure that they will never, ever be forgotten.”

The irony of Trump, who recently held up Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) assistance to millions of American children and was also best friends with the late sex trafficker and child rapist Jeffrey Epstein, referencing the Bible was a bridge too far for many on social media who saw Donald’s comments and pelted him with mockery and ridicule.

Satan could be reached for a comment. He was probably too busy applying for a job with ICE.
