Perhaps if he spoke less and thought more, Donald Trump could manage to string together a sentence or two and make some sense.
But as he proved Tuesday during a speech at Fort Bragg, the Sexual Assaulter-in-Chief has more than a few synapses missing from his so-called brain.
Attempting to mock his predecessor in office, Joe Biden, Trump let loose with this:
“I’ve known this guy for a long time. He was never the sharpest bulb.”

Never the sharpest bulb? Um, have you looked in the mirror lately, Donnie?
As everyone with a basic understanding of the English language knows, the expression is that someone isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer or the brightest bulb. All Trump managed to do was take the two and create an amalgam that makes absolutely no sense unless you happen to be as mentally challenged as the so-called president.
Reaction on social media to Trump’s latest senior moment (he turns 79 on Saturday) was immediate.
Sharpest bulb? Trump is as bright as a spoon. pic.twitter.com/C8EbRnswYQ

What’s next, Biden was no rocket surgeon?

"Not the sharpest bulb." What the hell does that even mean?

Are we sharpening our lightbulbs now? Are we screwing our steak knives into the ceiling for better light?
The man is trying to call someone else dumb, and he sounds like he just had a goddamn stroke in the middle of…
Trump is so stupid he can’t even get this metaphor right. It’s either a sharp knife or a bright bulb, but not a sharp bulb. And he has the gall to pretend that he is smarter than Biden? Ye gods.🙄

I don't remember Biden ever saying the price of eggs went down by 400%, or that there is a Stage 9 Cancer, or Ukraine was the aggressor & Putin is the victim & Haitians were eating city park geese & pets. DUH!

"What BRIGHT Bulb" in the box said those things?
Yup. Sharpest bulb. That is totally how we rate bulbs. By their sharpness. Jeanius!
