Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) is a well-known anti-LGBTQ bigot, but her hateful attack on Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles is getting her ripped to shreds on social media.
Mace thought she’d weigh in on an internet dispute between Biles and swimmer Riley Gaines, who is opposed to trans athletes competing in sports.
“Honey, if biological men competed in women’s gymnastics, odds are no one would know your name,” Mace posted on Twitter/X in response to Biles’ comment calling out Gaines for targeting a transgender high school athlete.
But there’s a major flaw with Mace’s asinine logic. Namely, the fact that Biles is one of the best gymnasts of the past half-century or longer. Also, most men could never hope to do some of the moves Biles and other female gymnasts do. Why? Because they’re male and their bodies are built very differently.
Mace was taken to task online.
