Elon Musk’s allegation that Donald Trump is in the still-unreleased Justice Department files on the late financier and convicted sexual trafficker Jeffrey Epstein is absolutely true, according to author and Trump biographer Michael Wolff, who has written extensively on the so-called president.
On Thursday, after a nasty public falling out with Trump, Musk made the scandalous accusation, posting on Twitter, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
He later added, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”

During the back-and-forth between Musk and Trump, Donald suggested it might be time to cancel Musk’s government contracts, which total billions of dollars a year and are a major source of Elon’s wealth.
However, Trump is unlikely to follow through on this threat, Wolff told The Daily Beast, because the president knows Musk has the goods on him.
Trump and Epstein were “best of friends” for 15 years, Wolff noted. “They shared girlfriends, they shared airplanes, [and] business strategy.”
“I have seen these pictures. I know that these pictures exist and I can describe them,” Wolff added. “There are about a dozen of them. The ones I specifically remember is the two of them with topless girls of an uncertain age sitting on Trump’s lap. And then Trump standing there with a stain on the front of his pants and three or four girls kind of bent over in laughter — they’re topless, too — pointing at Trump’s pants.”
“But I think, in general, it could also be the Epstein file writ large,” Wolff explained. “The scope of the Jeffrey Epstein life intersects with the Donald Trump life in a very meaningful, in fact, profound way. These guys kind of made each other.”
Trump certainly sounded like he admired Epstein, telling New York magazine in 2002, “I’ve known Jeff [Epstein] for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
So Trump was indeed friends with Epstein and knew that he preferred girls who were “on the younger side.” That alone suggests that Donald had suspicions about what Epstein was doing and that it might be illegal.
If the so-called “Epstein files” being held by the Department of Justice are real and include mentions of Donald Trump, that’s a very big deal. If only because it suggests that Trump may have taken part in raping underage girls, a crime he was accused of by a woman named Katie Johnson, according to Newsweek.
“That lawsuit, filed in federal court in Riverside, California, in April 2016, named Trump and Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, as defendants. It claimed the men held Johnson as a ‘sex slave’ in 1994 when she was 13 and forced her to perform sex acts.”
If Trump wants to prove he isn’t in the Epstein files, he should demand that Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel release them without any further delay.
But he won’t. Because he knows his name is all over those files.
