Donald Trump’s rapid cognitive decline was on full display at the White House yesterday, with the so-called president unable to answer a softball question from a reporter despite the query being repeated to him several times.
“When could the administration resume interviews for foreign student visas?” a reporter inquired.
“On what?” Trump asked.
“For the foreign student visa. Yesterday was the —” the reporter reiterated before Trump cut her off.
“For the French?”
“Foreign. Foreign,” several reporters corrected Trump.
“All the foreign students,” the reporter asked yet again.
“Oh, for the foreign visas? What are you referring — foreign visas for what?” Trump asked. “Are you talking about colleges?”
“Ok, you’re off of Israel. Now you’re talking about colleges, right?” Trump asked. The reporter confirmed that to be correct.
“Ok. Well, we’re gonna see,” Trump responded before he went off on an extended attack aimed at Harvard University, which had nothing to do with the original question.
Reaction to Trump’s monumental confusion and cluelessness was immediate, with some saying he had gravy for brains and others suggesting it might be time to consider using the 25th Amendment and remove him from office for the safety of the nation.
