Former Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was a special guest at the White House today to be sworn in as interim US Attorney for the District of Columbia.
However, things didn’t go the way Pirro had hoped when it came time for her to take questions from the press.
Pirro stepped aside for Donald Trump to speak, only to have him ask reporters, “You don’t want to ask questions?”
Even after Pirro moved back toward the podium, no one asked her a single question, leading her to say, “You just want to talk to him, I get it.”
Trump took the podium again and remarked, “She’s going to be fantastic. Thank you very much.”
He then compounded Pirro’s embarrassment by again asking, “No questions?” When none came, he turned to Pirro and said, “You are going to be fantastic.”
The dejected look on her face spoke volumes.
