Trump Goes On Extended Rant About ‘Trophy Wives’ During West Point Commencement Address

Commander Bone Spurs (a.k.a. Donald Trump) was in rare and truly eye-rolling form today during his address to the cadets graduating from West Point, and a large portion of what he said had absolutely nothing to do with the military or defense and national security policy.

Instead, Trump decided he’d go on an extended rant about trophy wives.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Trump brought up the subject of real estate developer William Levitt, whom the so-called president said he first met at a party in New York City.

“He sold this company and he had nothing to do,” Trump explained. “He ended up getting a divorce, found a new wife. Could you say a trophy wife? I guess we can say a trophy wife. It didn’t work out too well, but it doesn’t –– and that doesn’t work out too well, I must tell you.”

He then added, “A lot of trophy wives doesn’t work out. But it made them happy for a little while at least. But he found a new wife, he sold his little boat and he got a big yacht; he had one of the biggest yachts anywhere in the world. He moved for a time to Monte Carlo, and he led the good life. and time went by and he got bored and 15 years later, the company that he sold to called him and they said, ‘The housing business is not for us.'”

The cadets could only sit silently and watch as Donnie rambled on about who had married whom and how it worked out for them.

Of course, Trump knows a thing or two about trophy wives. His second and third wives (Marla Maples and Melania Knauss) were both known primarily as pretty faces. And he cheated on both of them, just like he did his first wife, Ivana. Along the way, he also admitted that he had lusted after his daughter, Ivanka, when she was only 13 years old.

But the larger point is the fact that Trump seems to have dementia. He loves to joke about Joe Biden not being mentally sharp, but that’s just projection on Donald’s part.

Keep in mind that Trump’s father, Fred, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and died as a result of it in 1999. That means that all of his children have a genetic predisposition for Alzheimer’s.

How long will it be before Donald starts forgetting his name and where he is? When it happens, will anyone in his administration have the guts to bring up the subject of the 25th Amendment?
