There was a time not so long ago when the federal government acted in a dignified and mature manner, but that was before Donald Trump was elected and began appointing some of the most hateful and unqualified people in US history.
A perfect example is Kristi Noem, the current Secretary of Homeland Security.
Noem’s “qualifications” for the post are laughable. She’s the former governor of a largely irrelevant state (South Dakota), and her main claim to fame is that she’s a serial adultress who murders puppies in her spare time.
Oh, and Kristi is also a foul-mouthed pile of excrement.
Proof can be found in Noem’s reaction to a lawsuit against her agency that was dismissed on Thursday.
“The lawsuit, filed on March 1 by 10 immigration detainees, challenged plans by the Trump administration to transfer them to Guantanamo Bay, a U.S. detention facility in Cuba,” Newsweek reports.
“According to a court filing on Thursday, most of the plaintiffs have since been deported, and the remaining individuals have opted not to continue with the case. As a result, the lawsuit was voluntarily dismissed, with the court deeming the matter moot.”
Not exactly a big win for Noem and DHS, but she couldn’t resist celebrating on social media with a two-word post that confirmed what a foul pseudohuman being she is.
Suck it? That sounds a lot like what Noem does every time she meets a man she finds attractive, or at least that’s what her previous actions suggest.
As Kenzie Bryant of Vanity Fair explained in 2023, “The Daily Mail has published an explosive report that South Dakota governor Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski, a former Donald Trump aide, have been having a secret affair ‘for years’—at least since 2019. Noem’s spokesperson told the tabloid, ‘This is so predictable that you would attack Governor Noem less than a week after she endorsed Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.’ Neither have denied the Daily Mail’s reporting, and Vanity Fair has reached out to both of them for further comment.”
“A ‘family values’ Republican, Noem has three children with her husband, Bryon. They’ve been married for over 30 years. Lewandowski married his wife, Alison, in 2005, and they have four children.”
It probably shouldn’t surprise anyone that a person as trashy as Kristi Noem would be capable of such a heartless and unprofessional reaction to the dismissal of a lawsuit. But she still got raked over the social media coals for her posting.
