Fox News host Jesse Watters thought he’d have some fun at the expense of Academy Award-winning actor George Clooney, but the thespian quickly turned the tables on the right-wing gasbag, making him look like a complete fool.
Clooney was coming out of a New York theater where he is starring in the play “Good Night and Good Luck” when Fox’s Johnny Belisario approached him and asked, “Why did you wait so long to speak about Biden’s condition?” The question was a reference to Clooney’s July 2024 New York Times op-ed calling for Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential election.
Cool as a cucumber, the actor replied, “Oh, hi man. Are you recording us now? Say hi to Jesse for me.”
He then added with a good measure of snark, “I’m a huge fan.”
Did Barack Obama use you to take Biden down? Belisario then asked.
Once again, Clooney shut down the Fox reporter with humor.
“Why are you so nervous? You’re shaking. Literally, he’s shaking.”
Nice try, Fox, but you’re trolling needs a lot of work.
